Happy 50th to a very Dear Friend

I made this card for my friend's 50th. Her family did her a surprise party which I went to and had a great time. Ive known her since I was 11 and we went to school together, so yes you've guessed it, its my 50th in a few weeks time too. (Boo hoo) The older you get the time just seems to go so much quicker. Now on to my card.

box for card

  • Embossed front piece of card and cut out an aperture and then arched it to fit so that butterfly sat in the middle
  • Acetate butterfly using one of the glitter girls butterfly stamp and then glittered behind
  • Fiskars lace punch for edging
  • Three rolled flowers using patterned paper and then a pearl glued in centre
  • Papermania adhesive shimmer dots
  • Box made with centura card and spellbinders fancy tags and ribbon and button from stash
Thank you for popping by. x

Gorgeous, I would not have thought of stamping the dragonfly onto acetate but it looks wonderful
